The Checklist

The 12 signals behind an AI endorsement

These are the scorecard's questions, each with what to do when the answer is no. Use it as a checklist, or take the scorecard for your score and your three priorities.

1. Identity: AI knows exactly who you are

  1. Is your company name written exactly the same way on your website, LinkedIn, and directories, and in Arabic if you use it? Pick one official spelling in English and one in Arabic, and use them everywhere: website, LinkedIn, directories, email signatures, tender documents. AI decides whether two mentions are the same company mostly by the name, so inconsistent spellings split your reputation in two.
  2. Does your homepage say, in one plain sentence, what you do, for whom, and where? Write one plain sentence, what you do, for whom, and where, and put it at the top of your homepage and your LinkedIn page. AI repeats the clearest description it can find. If you don't write it, it guesses.
  3. Does your website include Organization structured data (schema) with your name, location, and official profiles? Add Organization structured data to your homepage: legal name, other spellings, address, logo, and links to your official profiles. It is the machine-readable "who we are" that helps AI tell you apart from companies with similar names.

2. Proof: Others vouch for you

  1. Does your website show at least three named clients or projects, with real results? Publish at least three named projects with the client or sector, the scope, and a number: tonnage, area, deadline beaten, cost saved. AI recommends what it can confirm. "Trusted by leading companies" confirms nothing.
  2. In the last 12 months, has an independent website mentioned your company: industry media, an association, a partner, or a client? Get mentioned by sources AI trusts more than your own site: industry media, associations, partners' and clients' project pages. Independent sources describing you the same way you describe yourself is what turns a mention into an endorsement.
  3. Is your company listed, with the same details, in the directories your buyers use? Claim and complete your listings in the directories your buyers use, with the same name, description, and contact details everywhere. Consistent listings are easy confirmations for AI.

3. Readability: AI can read your website

  1. Have you confirmed that your website does not block AI crawlers such as GPTBot, ClaudeBot, and PerplexityBot? Check your robots.txt file and your firewall or CDN settings, and allow the AI search crawlers. A site AI can't read is a site AI can't vouch for. This is often a five-minute fix.
  2. Are your services, projects, and capabilities written as text on your pages, not only inside images, PDFs, or videos? Put your key facts in plain text on the page: services, sectors, project references, certifications, locations. A company profile PDF or a slider of images is close to invisible to AI.
  3. Does each service and each industry you serve have its own page? Give every core service and every industry you serve its own page. When a buyer asks a specific question, AI looks for a specific answer. One "Services" page with a list can't be that answer.

4. Presence: You answer what buyers ask

  1. Does your website answer the questions buyers ask before they contact you: how to choose a supplier, typical timelines, how you compare to alternatives? Write honest answers to the questions buyers ask before they call: how to choose, what it takes, how long it takes, and how you compare. Those are the exact questions they now ask AI.
  2. Do you or another senior leader post expert content on LinkedIn at least twice a month? Have one senior person post expert content on LinkedIn at least twice a month, describing the company in the same words as your website. It builds a public trail of consistent expertise with a name attached.
  3. In the last 90 days, have you asked ChatGPT who to hire in your category, and seen your company named? Find out what AI actually says. Ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity who to hire in your category and region, in a fresh logged-out chat. Or get the free AI Endorsement Report and I'll check it by hand for you.

Questions

What is AI endorsement?

An AI assistant endorses your company when it names you as a recommended choice and describes you correctly, in its first answer, when a buyer asks who to hire in your category.

Is this scorecard the same as the AI Endorsement Report?

No. The scorecard measures the signals you control, based on your own answers, in 3 minutes. The AI Endorsement Report measures what AI actually says: Ahmad Mneimne checks your company by hand in ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, and Perplexity and emails you the result. Both are free.

Do I need to sign up to take it?

No. You answer the questions first. At the end, you tell Ahmad where to send your report: your score and your stage appear on screen right away, and the full report, with your three priorities and a 30-day plan, arrives by email.

What happens to my answers?

Your answers are saved with your report, so Ahmad can see them and may follow up personally, and they count, without your name, in anonymous benchmarks such as the average score. Nothing is sold or shared. Details are in the terms.
